Hi. I’m Ryan Ritchie.

I’m a 29-year-old writer from Long Beach, California. I am an animal-loving vegan with four naughty cats and one good one.

When not napping with one of my feline friends, I’m traveling, teaching, self publishing and working on feature stories for the LA Weekly, the OC Weekly, the District, High Times and Long Beach Magazine.

Friends ask if I tire of the uphill climb that comes with being a freelancer, but I don’t. Writing keeps me centered unlike any other activity I’ve come across. Except sleep, but that doesn’t count.
